I have my husband's mum's journal of natural remedies and most of them include some mixture of camphor, kerosene or sulphur. "Mix the kerosene with the sulphur and slather it on the ailing person's chest and head, avoiding the eyes. Leave for 12 hours then set the patient on fire. Malady will heal and fail to return." :) *evil grin*

And about the sea urchins urine neutralises the venom in the stinger.
