  14. Crowley Says:
    Friggen moron
  15. Albaric Says:
Is this a dirge? It is certainly funereal....a song which never should have seen the light of day. A man with any taste would have dumped it for the miserable drone it is. It's awful certaintly of grinding blandness is enough to make a man mad. Whom the gods wish to destroy, first they make him listen to Zimmerman.
  16. Capucine Says:
No, it wasn't RR and it wasn't The Hawk I think sang the 2nd verse RR couldn't sing (he harmonised or did some melody lines) Rick Danko (bass) and Levon Helm (drums) had great voices and were the lead singers Richard Manuel sang beautiful too But plz correct me if I am wrong
  17. Idalie Says:
I mean Richard Manuel (did the 2nd verse)
  18. Nita Says:
That is the one indeed I think Garth Hudson is the music teacher and multi instrumentalist Richard Manuel has a beautiful emotional way of singing, really great
  19. Rinna Says:
My dad and his band sang this song when he was in prison, I guess it means a lot more for him then. ;) Great song though.
  20. ARMANI Says:
was it not robbie robertson who sahg 2nd verse ?
  21. Jenine Says:
    no question about it
  22. MADALINA Says:
hahaha funny story about that. Apparently for Neil Young's own performance, he came out on stage with a large cocaine globule hanging out of his nose lol. He had to run off and take it out, and the footage was cut from the film I suppose. Just thought it was funny because of the whole high thing lol
  23. Asayleus Says:
I think it was Richard Manuel that started the 2nd verse
  24. THORMOND Says:
2nd verse is the keyboard guy Garth Hudson? very emotional way of singing mán, they had three great, great vocalists in The Band
  25. Johnelle Says:
its a god damn impossible way of life
