January 8th, 2009 at 16:28:08 Bring back the 90s !!
January 8th, 2009 at 16:51:07 Bands like Buffalo Tom were exposed on MTVs 120 Minutes -- back when MTV actually had substance and REAL music. This generation is missing out on real music. MTV should grow a spine and start doing what it did 20 years ago. Real music is not the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus.
January 8th, 2009 at 17:14:06 i am only 14 but i listen to music from the 90's instead of what all my friends listen to. it is MUCH better
January 8th, 2009 at 17:37:05 Or perhaps they decided to distribute the music playing duties to the other channels which are part of their family of channels. MTV2, for instance. MTV has just become a glorified reality tv network. The only music they play daily anymore is TRL for a half an hour and who knows maybe they'll get rid of that in favor of more reality barf pretty soon
January 8th, 2009 at 18:00:04 It's because of the 'net, I guess. Less people buy music, less money to find and develop talent. Must be lots of talent out there that can't catch a break. If there was some forum to present & develop them then good music would flourish once again. This outlet used to be MTV but they stopped being a music channel in the 90s.
January 8th, 2009 at 18:23:03 I'm 19, and I can safely say that Buffalo Tom are much better than most of the music in my generation. Of all the decades in music, the 00's has been by far the worst. Nothing but emo garbage in the mainstream. Even the indie scene has declined.
January 8th, 2009 at 18:46:02 Yeah, are they missing out on great music because today's music sucks or we're just showing our age by not liking currrent music because it isn't the music we grew up listening to?
January 8th, 2009 at 19:09:01 Damn, I wish more music today was as good as Buffalo Tom's. All teens my age are missing out on great music.
January 8th, 2009 at 19:32:00 I blasted this song repeatedly the summer I graduated High School- same year MSCL ended. This goes way back-- and still rocks hard. Great post-- thanks for the memories. Hope it's doing the same for the Grads of this year-- best of luck and good times.
January 8th, 2009 at 19:54:59 thank you so, so, so much.
January 8th, 2009 at 20:17:58 this song rocks any house
January 8th, 2009 at 20:40:57 I CANT BELIEVE NO ONE HAS POSTED THEY WERE ON MSCL, oh wait ten thousand people have.
January 8th, 2009 at 21:03:56 Another great UMASS band.
January 8th, 2009 at 21:26:55 This was featured on "My So Called Life" I think a few times. I love this track so much.
January 8th, 2009 at 21:49:54 I endorse our brazilan request...Buffalo Tom come to Brazil!!! I´ve been to Boston this month and it was cool (and cold!) to be at the homeland of Buffalo Tom and the great Pixies!
January 8th, 2009 at 22:12:53 I love this song.
January 8th, 2009 at 22:35:52 The painful truth :(

January 9th, 2009 at 23:44:49 Great Band! Where are have all the working class bands gone these day's? MTV has killed rock and roll.
