November 21st, 2008 at 02:37:56 Thank you for that story. I will tell Marty for you. Marty is unique, special, and his talent is something else. If only you could hear him now. all that happened to him with the music industry and all that happened in his personal life only made him better and better. He is real. 100% real and should have been a living legend just like Hank,Cash,or Elvis. That is how good he really is and all these fake ass Karoke\American Idol\whatever pretend Cowboys like Chesney, etc cannot compare to him.
November 21st, 2008 at 03:00:55 MY wife and I WERE DIVORCED,for 7 long years, and were RE-MARRIED 6MONTHS AGO.I'LL CLIMB ANY MOUNTAIN is OUR song and has givin us great comfort since we first heard it in 91,IF he wonders if he has touched LIVES? he touched ours.I WAS ON THE VERGE OF SUICDE MANY TIMES and GOD and that song pulled me through.Iam happy to say I AM BLESSED TO HAVE MY WIFE AND 3 SONS BACK.hey,MARTY you dont have to wonder any more! THANK YOUR BROTHER FOR HELPING TO KEEP THIS DREAM ALIVE.With LOVE THANKS JACK RABBIT
November 21st, 2008 at 03:23:54 hi zaz I have to share this I think Marty is a very spiritual man and I have a felling that scared the GODLESS music world. He seems like a truely honest person and,we know THEY DONT WANT THAT.WHAT A BUNCH OF ASSHOLES.I Have a feeling they chewed him up and spit him out.SHAME ON THEM.But,if he stays true to himself he can have the last laugh.
November 21st, 2008 at 03:46:53 Marty Brown is a true country music heroe. And you will go down in history as one of the best of our time. Thank you for touching my life with your music.
November 21st, 2008 at 04:09:52 Love this country sound and wish he was still performing.
November 21st, 2008 at 04:32:51 it's sad the music industry is the way it is.. there's alot of awesome music out there. that's what i meant to type- i have a key that stuck earlier. :)
November 21st, 2008 at 04:55:50 i agree whole heartedly. i saw a special on 20/20 or 48 hrs many years ago about people trying to make it in Nashville and your brother was one of the artists they were following around. I heard him sing and had to go out and get his cd "High and Dry." It is said that the music industry is the way it is... there is alot of awesome music out there...
November 21st, 2008 at 05:18:49 Marty is my younger brother. He was and still is one of the greatest country singers of all time. The radio was stupid not to get behind him back then. Instead they played all these fake "line dance" Karoke Cowboys and they still are today. Marty has more talent in his pinky finger than that fake ass Kenny Chesney has is his whole body period!! Mike Brown
November 21st, 2008 at 05:41:48 thats a horrible thing to say i know his wife shes my teacher and she says its really easy to take care of their familey
November 21st, 2008 at 06:04:47 I miss this guy. I've even written to the city of Owesboro,KY trying to find out if he plays locally. He has vanished. Great song!

November 21st, 2008 at 07:36:43 Please put country back into country music --We in Dalton, GA miss you Marty.
November 21st, 2008 at 07:59:42 i agree with you 100 % there are no country singers today that can sing like the ones from the early 80's thru mid 90's. the country music today is absolutly ridiculas,i mean they'll sing about a dog taking a shit. no talents at all. by the way please tell marty brown we love him and we hope he returns soon to make country music real again.
November 21st, 2008 at 08:22:41 He is the new leader of al Qaida as well.

November 21st, 2008 at 09:54:37 I agree!! I called the local radio station to request "every now and then" one day and they acted like I was crazy, like I didn't know who I was talking about. I was like, I can bring the CD to you if you want!! What is he up to nowadays?? He still has and always will have a fan here in San Marcos, TX!!
November 21st, 2008 at 10:17:36 I've searched the internet over and over.....can somebody please post the video "Every now and then"???? What is Marty Brown doing these days??

November 21st, 2008 at 11:03:34 Hey Marty? If you are out there!! Remember the "Yellow Rose"?? LOL How could you forget? November 21st, 2008 at 11:26:33 Overall, he was always a VERY nice guy and a gentleman too!! VERY down-to-earth kind of guy that would give you his shirt off his back if the need would arise!! That was Marty!! He has written some BEAUTIFUL songs and one of my favorites that got played a LOT was, Every Now and Then!! The radio station played that till they run it in the ground. Another one was Wild Ky Skies that he wrote that I just loooooved as well! Debby Sweet ;o)
November 21st, 2008 at 11:49:32 I remember competing with Marty Brown here in Owensboro and he won 1st place and I came in second or third. Now, I can't remember. LOL That was sooooooo long ago.
