Lost Odyssey DLC - Defeating Professor K in 3 Turns

This is a video of my level 8x party taking on Professor K in the 400ms Point DLC, Seeker of the Deep. At 108800 HP, this guy may seem like a pushover, but one bad choice, coupled with Professor K's resistance, defence and reflect will have your party sprawled on the floor in no time. This punishing dungeon has no save points and you'll spend at least 30 minutes turn tailing your way back to get another shot at the little fella. He may be harder than The Immortal One if you do not know what you're doing and get your party wiped out by Annihilation. Most people that beat him used the new DLC items like Accelerator (Reduce casting time 3) or Rose Quartz (Turn Cast). These items are obtained from mini bosses you encounter in Random fights along the last 9 levels (16B to 24B). However, some people claim to never get these items (rare drop) even after 5 hours. In this video, I will provide rough details on how to defeat Professor K in 3 Turns. Minimum Requirements: Level 80+ Immortals (At least 8000 HP) The following skills: Persistence HP Boosting skills Crisis Defence Complete Defence Level 8 White Magic Level 8 Spirit Magic Lucky 0 Magic Damage Nullify all elements Double Cast Reduce Casting time 2 Mental Stability 2 Weapon Guard 2 Slot +5/Slot +10 Turn-tail Before the fight, get your Immortals' HP down to 1 to 1000. You can do this by fighting Hellish Kelolons (Black Kelolons in 24B). Note that this must be done by 24B as there are no more random encounters after 24B. Attack these Kelolons normally and they will perform counters, usually taking your characters to near death. Use Complete Defence to keep low health characters alive and Turn Tail when all Immortals have yellow Hp. Health Sed to full health and put him in the front row (so he will tank the few Forceus that Professor K casts) and the Immortals in the back row. Equip Sed with the Curse Crest, Holy Guard and Quad-Element Seal. Once the battle starts, just keep casting Reversa and hope for the best. If you're unlucky, Professor K will cast Reflect on his 2nd turn, meaning that your party will suffer 4 reflected Reversas hitting for about 40000 each. This is where Persistence pays off, if you have 2 HP or 860 HP, a 40000 reflected Reversa will only whack your HP down to 1. I took a big risk by taking 3 of my Immortals with 1 HP into the battle. In total, I have faced Professor K 6 times. In the 4 times I failed against him it was always because my party or the majority of the party got wiped out. Sure you can use divide and complete defense but that means that your party can last only so many turns. Because Professor K always has Regenerus and Annihilation at his disposal, you will never be able to cover the 20400 HP he heals while ressurecting your party members who fall to Annihilation. This is definitely not a fight you can win if you play defensively and stretch it out.

RB2 DLC: "DOA" by Foo Fighters, Expert Bass SR + Vocals Charts

"DOA" by Foo Fighters, released as a DLC single for the Rock Band series of video games on 12/23/2008 as part of the Foo Fighters Pack 01, and played by S1ckH4nds in Rock Band 2 for Xbox 360 on Expert Bass in Local Band Quickplay mode, with Expert Vocals and no-fail mode enabled with the microphone turned off on 12/23/2008. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a high score run, and was simply done in order to show the bass and vocals chart for consumers interested in purchasing this piece of downloadable content to expand their Rock Band experience. If you feel the need to comment on any perceived substandard performance, please don't bother; I already know I suck. :P This run was done as a sightread with no prior knowledge of the bass chart. Tracks released on 12/23 (same date for PS3) -- Rockin' the Holidays 2008 Pack 01 (240 MSP / $2.99, or 80 MSP / 99¢ per track) - Barenaked Ladies "Hanukkah Blessings" - Billy Squier "Christmas is the Time To Say I Love You" - The Pretenders "Blue Christmas" Foo Fighters Pack 01 (440 MSP / $5.49, or 160 MSP / $1.99 per track) - Foo Fighters "DOA" - Foo Fighters "This Is A Call" - Foo Fighters "Times Like These" This three-pack of Foo Fighters singles comes pretty closely on the heels of the release of "The Colour And The Shape" for Rock Band. I have a feeling many people are going to be avoiding it for that reason. That's a shame, because this is one of the nearly perfect artist three-packs that Harmonix has released. Three big tracks that were decent hits that just about everybody should know, and are all pretty dang fun to play. Nothing too crazy on bass in this pack, but the usual root note style gets changed up enough with these three to keep things enjoyable. My recommendation? Grab it without hesitation.

In addition to the Paintinator, were introducing a Paint Switch, so you can attach it to any object and set it to destruct after being splattered with enough paint. "Christmas Is The Time To Say I Love You" by Billy Squier, released as a DLC single for the Rock Band series of video games on 12/23/2008 as part of the Rockin' the Holidays 2008 Pack 01, and played by S1ckH4nds in Rock Band 2 for Xbox 360 on Expert Bass in Local Band Quickplay mode, with Expert Vocals and no-fail mode enabled with the microphone turned off on 12/23/2008. Tracks released on 12/23 (same date for PS3) -- Rockin' the Holidays 2008 Pack 01 (240 MSP / $2.99, or 80 MSP / 99¢ per track) - Barenaked Ladies "Hanukkah Blessings" - Billy Squier "Christmas is the Time To Say I Love You" - The Pretenders "Blue Christmas" Foo Fighters Pack 01 (440 MSP / $5.49, or 160 MSP / $1.99 per track) - Foo Fighters "DOA" - Foo Fighters "This Is A Call" - Foo Fighters "Times Like These" Another pretty simple bassline, but it's an instantly recognizable song if you've ever turned on the radio at Christmastime. I didn't know it by name alone but as soon as the melody started up I was like "Ohhhh, THAT song". Should probably be fun for your holiday get-togethers, so if you're gonna grab it, I suggest doing so while it's half-price (and before the holiday is over).

http://www.jameslikecoulter.net/ ----------------------------- Ted Nugent DLC Guitar Battle (by: I wonder who?) 275,197 - 926 Note Streak - 1st Place. I did this one like 1-2 weeks ago, and it was pretty difficult. This was the DLC battle, not the Carrer battle, so this doesn't add on to my career score of GHWT. It was a fun FC though. That last strumming part is REALLY HARD. You have to practice it a lot to understand it, and it took me like 45 minutes to get the hang of it. I have to go real quick, so I'll add more later. Enjoy.

Just like Impulse from GH3 this song is an absolute mess but fortunately again just like Impulse in a good way :). Fun to play and a very nice warmup for fretting altstrumming downstrumming you name it. I like it how neversoft gives away free dlc unlike harmonix with like from 400 songs only a few free.

Rock Band DLC - My Sharona - Expert - Guitar 100% (WITH HANDS)

First and foremost, a million thanks to Azuritereaction for editing this video for me. He's got a slew of amazing split-screen drum vids on his channel. Check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/user/azuritereaction For the hands capture, I mounted my digital camera to the headstock of my guitar looking down the fretboard. The in-game footage is, as always, gamebridge capture. I hope to make a bunch more like this in the future, perhaps adding a second camera to see strum/whammy bars. Artist: The Knack Song: My Sharona Game: Rock Band 2 Difficulty: Expert Instrument: Guitar This is one of my favorite songs in Rock Band. That second solo is amazing, both to play and to listen to. I already have a FC run of this up but it has some minor audio problems. I'll likely leave it up and direct people to this video with annotation.

While the beginning is a pretty straightforward cover of the Christmas classic made famous by Elvis Presley, the ending half kicks the tempo into fifth gear and proves that Chrissie Hynde still has what it takes. This is my favorite of the three holiday tracks, and I highly recommend it.

Stage: Act 3 Costume: Raiden And if you're wondering why I was shooting those paintballs so slow, it's because I was trying to get a trophy where you shoot less than 125 times. Little did I know you weren't supposed to shoot anything until the last boss. Pretty challenging huh? I managed to get it anyways lol.
