Truth be told, I never was a big fan of Ghostwriter: I found it to be a rather monotonous show compared to Square One TV, and it was more than a bit disconcerting watching the former be pushed whereas the latter was cancelled. That said, I did warm up to it a bit in the years since: The concept was novel, and it did reinforce reading and problem-solving skills. Without further ado, here are the opening titles to this '90s Children's Television Workshop series. I was about to post the long end credits as well, but the upload inexplicably fails each time I attempt to do so. Oh well.

Re-edited video. A tribute to my favorite member of the Ghostwriter team, Rob Baker. Shy, eccentric, and thoughtful, Rob taught us many things: stay out of subway tunnels, skateboards pwn all, writing unlocks doors, and friends light your way. All footage is credited to Kyleschick. Thank you for sharing. Song is "I'm Still Here" from Disney's Treasure Planet. Ghostwriter is owned by the Children's Television Workshop and PBS.

"The Ghost Writer" was an unusual pilot from 1990 that starred Anthony Perkins. It was written by Alan Spencer, the creator of "Sledge Hammer!" when Perkins contacted him about creating a show for the actor. Despite not being picked up for series, the pilot got a favorable response and the live audience taping was memorable. This version features some unaired footage.
